Casale Litta (VA)
Redevelopment of a single-family villa.
The project involved the extension of a prestigious villa built in the woods in the '90s.
The original villa was built with clean and balanced forms. The conservatory was designed as a natural continuation of the existing building and as an element that had always been there.
The work to improve the energy efficiency of the house was conceived so as not to alter the nature of the existing building, adding on a hybrid space that would also act as a filter area between nature and architecture so that the light and atmosphere of the outdoors could be enjoyed with the comfort of the interior.
In addition to the conservatory a carport was built.
Together with our landscape architects the entrance area to the home was altered, also by adding a sculpture.
The artificial lighting design was coordinated with lighting experts in order to enhance the final forms of the house.
